Concurrently, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in Japan has unveiled its Strategy of Resource-Autonomous Circular Economy for Growth, outlining a comprehensive framework to support the establishment of a circular economy.

During the seminar, policy authorities and private companies from both Japan and the EU will engage in insightful discussions on the path to progress in CEREP. They will explore the potential for collaboration and exchange ideas on how Japan and Europe can work together to advance the principles of the circular economy and resource efficiency.
