MULTIGEN Health Services, which produces the world’s fastest molecular genetic diagnostic kits, and Haptic R&D Consulting, which is a global consulting company offering innovative solutions in the field of technology and engineering, signed a distributorship agreement covering all of Romania. With the mentioned agreement, the authorized representative of the MULTIGEN brand will be Haptic R&D Consulting.

Founded in 2015 under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Onay at the Department of Medical Genetics from the Faculty of Medicine at Ege University, MULTIGEN undertakes pioneering work in Turkey and in the world in the field of Molecular Genetics Diagnostic Kits. Among the firsts are the FAST-ID® GENETIC IDENTIFICATION KIT, which reduces the DNA-based person identification duration from 2 hours to 34 minutes, and the HEMOPHILIA A® GENOTYPING KIT, which has been developed to examine mutations which occur in the F8 gene – the first of its kind in the world – and that can carry out both targeted mutation detection and diagnosis Hemophilia A by screening the entire gene with the next generation sequence analysis.
