The return of SIL 2022: business, knowledge, and networking

After two years of absence due to the health situation, the 22nd edition of SIL Barcelona, the leading trade fair for Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain in Southern Europe, organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), will take place from May 31st to June 2nd, 2022, in the pavilion 8 of the Montjuic enclosure of Fira de Barcelona.

The event returns with a completely renewed image and with the aim of bringing a large volume of business to all participating companies. It is a benchmark event in Southern Europe and Latin America that is based on 3 fundamental pillars: business, knowledge, and networking. In this sense, the business branch refers to all those companies that will exhibit during the fair the latest developments in the sector, while the knowledge it will once again bring together more than 300 experts in the logistics and e-commerce sector in more than 80 sessions, which will take place in 4 stages: Business Transformation, Industry & Logistics, eDelivery and Global Logistics. Furthermore, SIL will also promote innovation through the Startup Innovation Hub, where participating entrepreneurs and start-ups will have the opportunity to present innovative solutions and projects, in addition to talent and sustainability.

Regarding networking, SIL 2022 is presented as a meeting that will have a greater presence of new technologies, which will boost the generation of contacts. In this context, the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona has opted to divide the Networking Circle into three categories: the Logistics Circle, which will bring together the main directors of logistics and / or Supply Chain of industry loading companies, Retailer Circle, with the presence of the most prominent international retailers, and Start-ups Circle, where emerging companies will meet with potential investors.

Although the event has always been committed to a greater technological presence in the logistics sector, with the outbreak of the pandemic, logistics has undergone an unprecedented transformation thanks to its digitization. That is why a greater presence of technological tools has become a priority for the new edition of the event.

Registration for the event is now available and is completely free until May 15th. To obtain accreditation it is necessary to fill in the form available on the web page.
